Israel Railways Bike Parking
Service Calls, Charges, and Technicians Management
BikeBox is an innovative project by Israel Railways for operating robotic bicycle parking for train users. To implement the project, the client requested to develop an information system capable of connecting to the robotic system created in Spain, receiving indications regarding validity, displaying operational parameters in the customer service system, managing service calls in accordance with SLA regulations, managing invoicing with end customers, enabling customer access to their information through a website and IOS + Android + information kiosk applications near the parking stand.
The system serves thousands of users daily at 4 train stations on land vehicles and is expected to grow soon to additional stations.
The main goal of the client was to create a user-friendly system for managing service calls for end users and effective management of the financial and operational systems of unmanned robotic parking lots. For this purpose, the system was built to enable the consolidation of all customer data on one CRM platform, both financially and in terms of the ability to address field issues, while adhering to SLA objectives, managing field technicians, and financial account management with the customer, including reporting and intelligent BI systems.
The system currently serves 4 parking lots scattered throughout the country and is expected to expand to around 20 parking lots at main railway stations. The system is cloud-hosted, enabling multifunctional communication for users, service managers, technicians, and the overseeing railway management. The system adheres to SLA agreements, facilitates easy and convenient service through a unique Knowledge Base for service operators, and allows remote monitoring of the robotic facility's functionality through consistent communication with sensors present in each robotic facility.
